These lucky birds have all gone to their forever homes!!
January, 2010-- Kodiak went to his forever home a couple months ago! He is an only bird with a wonderful family and gets all the attention and baths that he needs!!
Hi, I'm Kodiak, a male Blue-fronted Amazon. I am about 12 years old and am looking for a new home. My mom has to move and she can't take me with her. I don't like to be pet much, but I step-up really well and like to just spend time with you. I like to eat and I like my showers too! I make little gurgly sounds but am not loud. I don't talk, but maybe if you talk to me, I'll learn some words. Come meet me and take me home!

Buddy went to his forever home on 8/26/09. His new parronts are showing him a new world of love and attention and he is thriving!!
I was found in an empty apartment a few days after my person was evicted. I was growling and screaming at anyone who came into the apartment because I was scared. All I had in my cage to eat was peanuts. A nice lady came and took me to her house and she told me she is my foster mom. She has been feeding me all sorts of good food. I like rice, peas, grapes, carrots, and I'm even starting to eat ZuPreem pellets. I still don't like hands much, but I'm very calm and comfortable now. I will let people come right up to my cage and talk to me and I don't growl or lunge anymore. I've even let my foster mom rub my head and beak through the bars of my cage. I say "Watchya doin'?", "Are you my buddy?" and I make all the usual African Grey noises. I just need someone to spend time with me so I can learn to trust again and learn more fun human words!
Margarita went to her forever home on April 1, 2009. A DNA test was done and we found out that Margarita is actually a boy, so his new family changed his name to Z-Ray.
My name is Margarita and I am a Blue & Gold Macaw. I'm 4 years old and very friendly. So far I've said "HI" to my foster mom. I say more things, but I've been shy and want to keep some surprises to myself. For most of my life, I've been on a diet of seeds with occassional fruit and nuts. My foster mom has introduced me to pellets and they're okay. I like pellets and I know they are much more nutritious for me than just seed. I need someone to give me a forever home with lots of attention where I can show you everything I can say, and you can teach me more!!

Stanley went to his forever home on Saturday, July 19, 2008. His new family is a wonderful couple who is already owned by a very spoiled Blue & Gold Macaw, Jasmine. We know Stanley will be very happy with his new "parronts" and sister Jasmine.
My name is Stanley and I'm a two year-old Greenwing Macaw. My foster mom says I have a big personality and I know what I want. She sure is right!! I like to be around people and I step up very nicely. But, if I don't want to step up, especially if I know you're going to put me back in my cage, I can get nippy. The right person will understand me and know that I won't bite you. I just hit your hand and nip to let you know that I don't like what you're doing. I say "HI" and "Hi Stanley". Won't you take me home and teach me more words and give me lots of attention?

Gypsy went ot his/her forever home on June 13, 2009. Her new family loves her very much and she has a new flock of birds to play with!!
Hi, I'm Gypsy, a Military Macaw. I am about 4 years old. I don't like to step up very much, but if you let me come out of my cage on my own I will come out. My foster mom has started putting a folded towel on her arm and when she does that, I like to step up on the towel. Someday maybe I'll get used to stepping up on an arm or hand. I'm learning how to eat pellets, vegetables and other foods that are good for me. I need a forever home with someone who won't be afraid of me when I get bossy. I need to learn how to step up and behave so that I can spend more time with people and make new friends.
